Yes, I read the Hobbit. I did enjoy the book; it was different from books like "Hunger Games" and "Harry Potter" and that's what I loved about it. They were so many different adventures with spiders, goblins, wargs, elves, and trolls that it never ceased to amaze me. I didn't even notice it had no romance in it until I read your question.
